Icing For Drizzle Cakes

This is the simple yet elegant glaze you’ll need for a beautiful drizzle cake. It’ll create a smooth, glossy finish with a subtle sheen. Depending on your cake recipe, adding some grated citrus zest or even some edible flowers will make your icing look even more special.
Ingredients
1 tbsp lemon juice
125g icing sugar
2-3tsp whole milk
Method
Start by whisking lemon juice into the icing sugar. Then slowly whisk in the milk. You will need a spreadable consistency.
Once your drizzle cake is cooled, this is the perfect icing to spread on top. Let it harden to get the traditional appearance for your cake.
